The Israeli occupation authorities on Tuesday re-arrested Muhammad Jamil al-Julani, 34, from the Shuafat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, immediately after his release from the Negev desert prison.
Head of the Jerusalem Prisoners' Committee, Amjad Abu Asab, told Safa that the occupation authorities re-arrested the prisoner al-Julani immediately after his release from the Negev prison after he had served his 13-year sentence.
He explained that the occupation handed over the brothers of the prisoner al-Julani, a summon to the intelligence services in rooms (4) in the Al-Maskobiya detention camp, west of Jerusalem.
Al-Julani was arrested on September 1, 2008, and the occupation court charged him with membership in a military cell, participating in operations that benefit the two Jerusalemite prisoners, Louay Abu Najma, who is sentenced to 25 years in prison, and Muhammad Khalil Abu Sneina, who is sentenced to life imprisonment.
Abu Asab indicated that his mother died nine years ago, and the occupation authorities did not allow him to participate in her funeral, or even to take a farewell look, which left a huge pain in his heart.
The occupation authorities deliberately harass the prisoners at the moment of their liberation by kidnapping them from the prison gates to prevent them from celebrating their liberation and to deprive them of the social incubator of the Palestinian people.
