45 thousands of worshipers perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid Israeli restrictions at its gates, and an intense military deployment in its vicinity.

The Department of Islamic Endowments reported that 45,000 worshipers performed the prayer today in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The preacher of the mosque, Sheikh Yusef Abu Sneina, pointed out in his Friday sermon the strict measures imposed by the Israeli occupation on worshipers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He explained that the occupation institutions target the traders of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, impose heavy fines on them, and confiscate their goods.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces arrested a young man from Bab Al-Asbat Square before entering Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray, after assaulting him severely.
