Dozens of citizens on Thursday evening participated in a stand of support with the hunger-striking prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons, in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, in the northern occupied West Bank.
The participants raised banners calling on international and human rights institutions to provide protection for the prisoners.
The director of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said: "The world must take its role and stand up to its responsibilities towards the issue of prisoners," stressing that "there is no stability or security without our prisoners enjoying freedom."
He stressed that "our prisoners are fighting the battle to defend dignity."
