Israeli forces launched a fierce attack this evening, Saturday, on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza.

Medical sources confirmed that the hospital has come under intense and unprecedented bombardment, with airstrikes and artillery shells hitting the facility, while snipers have targeted its departments, causing severe damage to the hospital’s infrastructure.

Dr. Hussam Abu Safieh, Director of Field Hospitals at Gaza’s Ministry of Health, stated that the ongoing attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital constitutes “deliberate killing” by the Israeli forces. He warned that evacuating patients from the hospital would lead to certain death in the face of relentless bombardment.

He also highlighted that there is no safe way to evacuate either patients or medical staff from the hospital and called on international bodies to intervene and stop the ongoing assaults on medical facilities. Dr. Abu Safieh added that Israeli snipers are targeting everyone at the hospital, including patients and healthcare workers.
