Israeli Sniper Admits to Killing Over 200 Palestinians in Gaza, Including Children

An Israeli sniper has confessed to killing more than 200 Palestinians during the ongoing conflict in Gaza, revealing chilling details about his actions, including the targeting of children. In a harrowing testimony, the sniper admitted that he initially kept count of his victims but stopped after surpassing 200 deaths.

When questioned about whether children were among those he killed, the sniper replied, “Yes, there were children… there were children.” The admission has sparked outrage and renewed calls for accountability over Israel’s military operations in Gaza.

The sniper also disclosed that other Israeli snipers operating in Gaza had killed even more people. “I know someone from a village near Sderot… he stopped counting after 400 kills,” he said. These revelations shed light on the scale of violence inflicted on Gaza’s civilian population, including vulnerable groups such as children.

According to Defense for Children International, numerous Palestinian children have been directly targeted by Israeli snipers using live ammunition. Volunteer doctors in Gaza have corroborated these claims, reporting that the types and locations of injuries, along with testimonies from Palestinian families, indicate that victims were deliberately shot by Israeli forces.

Human rights organizations have documented cases of Palestinian families, including children, being targeted while seeking shelter in their homes or attempting to access food in residential areas. These actions have been widely condemned as violations of international humanitarian law, which prohibits the targeting of civilians during armed conflicts.

The sniper’s testimony has added to the growing body of evidence highlighting the devastating impact of Israel’s military campaign on Gaza’s civilian population. Since the escalation of violence in October 2023, over 48,450 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, with thousands more injured or missing under the rubble.

The international community has repeatedly called for an end to the violence and for investigations into alleged war crimes committed during the conflict. However, Israel has consistently denied targeting civilians, claiming that its operations are aimed at Hamas and other militant groups.

For Palestinians in Gaza, the sniper’s admission is a grim reminder of the human cost of the ongoing siege and military aggression. As the world grapples with the implications of these revelations, the need for justice and accountability for the victims of this conflict has never been more urgent.

The sniper’s haunting words underscore the moral and ethical dilemmas faced by those involved in the conflict, while also highlighting the enduring resilience of the Palestinian people, who continue to endure unimaginable suffering in their quest for freedom and dignity.
