At least 230 Palestinians have been killed and 350 injured, mostly women and children, after Israeli airstrikes pounded various areas across the Gaza Strip overnight. The brutal bombings targeted homes, mosques, schools, shelters, and tents housing displaced families, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian crisis.
Gaza’s Civil Defense reported that rescue crews are struggling to reach bombed areas due to the intensity of the strikes and a severe lack of equipment. Trapped civilians are calling for help from beneath the rubble, but many remain unreachable.
The Israeli government confirmed the strikes, stating that the army had launched a series of violent raids on targets in Gaza. However, the widespread destruction and high civilian casualties have drawn condemnation, with many accusing Israel of disproportionate and indiscriminate attacks.
As the death toll rises, Gaza’s already fragile infrastructure is pushed closer to collapse, leaving thousands without shelter, medical care, or basic necessities. The international community faces mounting pressure to intervene and halt the violence before more lives are lost.
