Gaza’s health authorities reported that casualties continue to arrive at hospitals even under what has been described as a ceasefire environment, underscoring the ongoing human cost of the genocidal war. Over the past 24 hours alone, one individual was confirmed dead and five others were admitted with injuries, reflecting a pattern that has persisted for months despite the supposed halt in large-scale military operations.
According to the latest figures, the period following 11 October 2025 has seen at least 818 people killed and 2,301 wounded. In addition, hundreds of bodies, estimated at 762, have been recovered from beneath the rubble during this time, pointing to the enduring devastation left behind and the slow, painful process of retrieving those lost. These numbers continue to rise incrementally, highlighting the fragile and incomplete nature of the ceasefire.
Since October 2023, the cumulative toll of the genocidal war has reached 72,594 fatalities and 172,404 injuries. Officials note that many victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or stranded in inaccessible areas, as emergency and civil defence teams struggle to reach them due to ongoing risks and limited resources. The inability to recover all victims adds a further layer of uncertainty to an already staggering humanitarian crisis.
