At least four more Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids in the West Bank. The Israeli forces extended their deadly raids across the occupied territory, with the latest casualties including Adel Ahmed Adel Bashkar, 19, who was killed by Israeli occupation forces on Friday evening in Askar refugee camp near Nablus. He was shot in the chest and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
Earlier, the Palestinian Authority's Civil Affairs Authority reported that Israeli forces killed three Palestinians during an assault on Nour Shams refugee camp, near Tulkarem. The victims were Jihad Mahmoud Hassan Masharqa, 40, Muhammad Ghassan Abou Abed, and Khaled Mustafa Sharif Amer, 23. The bodies of the victims were held by the Israeli forces.
Since January 21, Israeli forces have launched a large-scale offensive on the West Bank, displacing more than 35,000 Palestinians from the refugee camps in Jenin, Tulkarem, and Far’a. According to the UN, about 90% of the inhabitants of Jenin and Tulkarem refugee camps were forced to flee.
The UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) described the destruction in Jenin camp, turning it into a "ghost town," while the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) stated that the killings and demolitions are evidence of ongoing violations of international law.
Between February 4 and 10, Israeli forces killed five Palestinians, including one child, and injured 49 others, including eight children. From February 11 to 13, two more Palestinians were killed, one during an exchange of fire and the other under unclear circumstances.
Israeli settlers were also involved in 15 incidents of aggression or damage to Palestinian property, injuring three Palestinians, including one child.
